Network Installation
& Computer Support

Our home wireless network installation service includes:

• Setting up your wireless router with secure, password protected WPA encryption to help keep neighborhood and drive-by hackers out, and to prevent your neighbors from connecting to your router and stealing your bandwidth 

• Configuring up to 2 PC's to connect to your new wireless network. Each additional PC is $25.

• Setting up one network printer, or sharing a printer, so that both PC's can print to it. Each additional printer is $25.

• Documentation of your router's password and your PC configuration for your future reference. We can keep a copy of this in our files if (and only if) you so desire, just in case you ever need us to come out again.

Price: $125 (does not include the router, which we can provide for you). 

These Additional Home Network Services are Available:

• We can configure your router to use Open DNS (a free service) so that you can selectively block access to pornography, illegal file sharing websites, Facebook, etc.

• We can also install software which will enable you to monitor your children's PC usage by screenshot (software is extra).

• Installing a wireless repeater for extended range., so that you can use your laptop in your back yard or basement.

• Setting up shared folders or mapped drives so that you can easily share files.

• Installing a network drive for backups, so that you will not lose your important data should a computer crash.

• Scheduling a backup script or free backup program to automatically run each night to copy to a backup drive or to another computer's hard drive.

• Installing a highly recommended, free antivirus program.

• Upgrading your PC's memory or graphic's card for better gaming.

In Home (Onsite) PC Support 

We also provide at home and remote computer support  This includes new computer setup with file and email transfer, printer setup and sharing, email and email signature setup, file recovery, antivirus installation, virus, trojan, spyware and adware removal, file sharing, backup solutions, smart-phone email setup (including I-Phone), advanced computer troubleshooting, and operating system repair and restoration.

Cost for services: Our regular on-site rates apply ($65 per hour within our Free Delivery Zone. Outside of it, $75 for the first hour per trip, and $65 per hour thereafter.)
